Art-Rotary Table Part 2
Rotary Table
The Rotary table series RTH has technologically advanced features that include direct drive rotary stage. The stage feature on the rotary table is used in the provision of angular positioning and they are specifically designed in such a way that they can eliminate friction, backlash and the problems of wear associated with the worm, belt drives and gear. Other features of the Rotary table are center aperture, unlimited rotation where it can work round the clock, high torque motors, low profile and axial and radial air bearing.
The Rotary table series RTH combines axial brushless RotoLinear motoring modules together with the planar air bearings in a very compact and direct drive configuration. A Rotary table with large area air bearings is useful in providing sufficient payload stiffness and maximizing performance when it comes to run-out and wobble. The radially distributed RotoLinear motoring modules of a Rotary table are used to offer the much needed positioning stiffness all through rotary indexing as well as when installed on the moving XY tables. The moving XY tables on the other hand supply the Rotary table series RTH with unlimited rotation capabilities and are compatible with standard indexers and micro-stepping drives. When the user intends to drive the Rotary table as commutated brushless motor then it is first equipped with intelLiCoder feedback. The RTH rotary stage feature center bore or aperture is designed for the user to install vacuum lines, fixtures and cabling.
The Rotary table series RTH can also have recirculation mechanical ball bearings. Other models of Rotary table include the RTH 4 series, RTH 6 and RTH 8 series. The things to consider when acquiring the robotic Rotary table are the parameter systems like static torque, repeatability, resolution, dynamic torque, number of phases, operating speed, current per oil, forcer type, bearing type, axial and radial run-out, air bearing, air gap, finish, aperture diameter, outside diameter and total height of stator and rotor. The servoring direct drive rotary brushless motors of the rotary table are utilized in applications requiring velocity control and superior angular positioning.
The rotary table tasks may include semiconductor manufacturing, high speed laser machining and tool indexing. The servoring direct drive rotary brushless motors of the rotary table comprise of steel rings with high strength magnets that are bonded and can be used as stator/rotor assembly in the integration of customer's machines. The motor of the rotary table is compact while the stator ring frame includes coil windings and laminations. The planar servoring rotary table is a compact package that is designed to minimize the stage height. Angular contact bearings maximize performance in respect to friction, moment stiffness and wobble.
The servoring rotary table center aperture is large and clear for beam delivery and efficient wire or air line feed-through. Large open center provides easy access to parts both from outside and inside in rotary table automation applications. The feature allows ancillary tools and robotic devices to be mounted inside the rotary table and in the process save floor space. The rotary and motor encoders of the rotary table are coupled directly to eradicate coupling backlash. Zero backlash and low inertia makes planar servoring the perfect solution for applications of the rotary table that demand recurrent directional changes.
